The remit of this role is to provide technical support across all engineering functions across the EMEA region for an out sourcing Facilities Management organisation. The successful candidate will lead technical innovation and solutions, integrate industries best practice and drive technical projects..



The ideal candidate must hold a third level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Building Services and 10 years relevant Facilities experience.



Main tasks:

- Provide leadership relating to the delivery of technical services required to support the operation of all building operating systems and services across the EMEA offices

- Review the provision of out sourced technical services and seek opportunities to enhance services, streamline operations or reduce costs

- Review existing building operating systems to identify opportunities to improve reliability, decrease energy usage and increase operating efficiencies

- Support the ongoing development of our maintenance and asset management strategies

- Research and implement new systems and technologies across the contract

- Be an active advocate for continuous improvement initiatives and ensure best technical practices in the industry and implement

- Mentor in house team and provide technical support and advice to assist in the delivery of either existing or new technical services

- Provision of support for the investigation and resolution of technical or system related issues

- Support the identification of equipment that does not meet existing or upcoming statutory, H&S or environmental regulations

- Carry out fault diagnosis on plant and equipment to ensure maximum equipment availability

- Assist with Implementation of ISO50001 and ISO14001 systems



Experience required:

Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering

Minimum of 10 years Facilities Management experience

Strong problem solving skills

The ability to lead change and ensure the delivery of services across the EMEA region

Full knowledge of ISO9001/14001/18001/50001

Flexible to travel across EMEA
