A unique opportunity to work on a Global and multi divisional programme to establish and deliver processes and standards to define the new Project methodology to be used across the Group within this organisation.
You must have experience of writing detailed processes for Project methodologies, processes and standards previously within a large Financial Institution. You must also have a background in Lean, Agile or Six Sigma approaches along with knowledge of PPM tools such as HP Navigator.
Main duties:
Supporting the workstream lead in the start-up/development of the Process and Standards Workstream and acceleration of the deployment of Navigator as the primary tool for Change across the firm
i. Support definition and operationalise of new change processes, standards and governance across the Change community via Working Groups where appropriate e.g. Definition/documenting and implementation of E2E processes and standards aligned with PPM Tool (HP Navigator)
ii. Ensure all solutions or artefacts delivered are standardised across the firm, simplified and understanding of automation roadmap
iii. Identifying any new governance required, clarity of roles and responsibilities within processes and identification of oversight forums
iv. Gain full understanding of 'as is' processes aligned to change discipline and definition of a transition approach to the 'to be' target stat or defined roadmap
Creating a detailed analysis of the existing business and function owned "as is" processes, procedures, standards, roles and responsibilities and tools in-use
Creating a process map to reflect the mapping of the "as is" state to the "to be" target state of each element, working with key stakeholders to agree an approach and possible plan to execute the changes
Working with PPM Tool SME's to understand and agree possible solutions for adoption and alignment to Group Standards
Produce detailed process libraries for each new process, including roles & responsibilities and required governance or escalation paths
Participation in relevant forums, specifically Working Groups on specific Project, Programme and Portfolio disciplines
Actively contribute to the realisation of the project aims and objectives
Lead interviews, meetings, working groups or workshops and other requirement elicitation
Produce weekly status report ensuring escalation of risks, issues, progress and concerns or blockers
Experience required:
Strong business analyst skills including working with stakeholders to define the business requirements, perform gap analysis and define the amalgamated future state
Experienced Change professional with a background in portfolio / programme/project management with experience working across both technology and business stakeholders
Well versed in multiple methodologies (Prince2, Scrum, Agile) and minimum level of controls involved for each. Desirable qualifications - Lean, Prince2, MSP, APM, P3O
Working knowledge of PPM tools and their usage, preferably in a financial services environment
Good grasp of project/programme/portfolio management principles
Excellent written, verbal communications and presentation skills
Self-starter
In depth knowledge of Change Management best practice and related disciplines
Ability to demonstrate analytical skills - can distil complex information into logical and precise messages
Manage by influence - build solid relationships, proven track record of effectively managing internal and external stakeholders in a global context
Proficient user of MS Excel, MS Visio, MS Project & MS Powerpoint

£600.00 - £650.00 per day
