Hays IT have a requirement for an experienced IT Business Analyst with oil and gas industry exposure and strong BPMN experience to work for this leading employer to provide business requirements deliverables including proposed process maps and data model, solution options analysis and business case.



The Role:



* Identification and definition of business requirements of respective businesses units and stakeholders, and to help determine solutions to meet these business needs or resolve the business problems.



* Work very closely with project and program managers, subject matter experts and business focal points in the implementation of the ICT Master Plan. Work undertaken will be in the area of project start-up activities as well as contribution as a member of a project team, delivering business analysis to the entire project through its lifecycle.



* Business requirements gathering utilising best practice Business Analysis techniques



* Investigate requirements and problems, seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes.



* Assists in the analysis of the underlying issues arising from investigations into requirements and problems and identifies available options for consideration.



* Work with users to define final acceptance tests.



* Specify and develops test scenarios to test that new/redesigned processes deliver improved ways of working for the end user at the same time as delivering efficiencies and planned business benefits.



* Investigate corporate automation requirements and applies analysis, data modelling, and quality assurance techniques, to establish, modify, or maintain ICT models and their associated components (entity descriptions, relationship descriptions, attribute definitions).



* Provide advice and guidance to ICT architects and designers and others using the data and other structures and associated components.



* Select and use tools and methods to establish, clarify and communicate the non-functional requirements of system users, their characteristics and tasks and identifies the technical, organisational and physical environment in which complex products or systems will operate.



Experience Required:



* Oil and Gas / Resources Industry experience

* Experience in Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) is highly desirable.
