Communications Business Partner

An excellent opportunity has become available to join a London-based transport authority as a Business Partner.



This is a 6-month temporary role, and is based in central London. It is essential that the successful candidate is educated to degree level or possesses equivalent experience.



The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for developing and delivering effective internal change communications and engagement plans, programmes, and campaigns that align to both communications and business outcomes.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

* Building relationships with senior management to gain a deep understanding of the business unit strategies & objectives in order to provide the most effective communication and engagement solutions



* Producing written and visual materials by reviewing and coaching business leaders to deliver effective and relevant communications against business objectives based on the specific needs of the audience

* Identifying, tracking and measuring effectiveness of communication and engagement plans, working with the Business Management function

* Taking the lead on communication and engagement projects, such as employee survey as well as supporting business critical projects allocated in line with business priorities



The ideal candidate should possess the ability to develop strong working relationships, as well as the ability to negotiate and influence. It is also essential that the candidate has experience of performing a business partner role in a large, complex, unionised environment.
