Group IT Business Solutions Manager

Sheffield, United Kingdom, GB - Information Technology and Services

Group IT Business Solutions Manager / Head of IT / Applications required on an interim basis for our International Market Leading Manufacturing client based in South Yorkshire / North Derbyshire.



Purpose of Role:



Reporting to the CIO on an interim basis the purpose of this role is to lead and manage a centralised team of business systems managers to deliver business process efficiencies across all Group operations through the use and leverage of standardised systems.



Key Responsibilities:



- Establishes and maintains the enterprise architecture supporting the group's business operations.

- Manages the execution and delivery of Group IT Business Solutions projects to agreed timescales and budget.

- Leads the selection and introduction of external third party service providers to support Group IT Business Solutions related activities where required.

- Manages the operating and capital expenditure associated with the Group IT Business Solutions seeking opportunities to deliver cost saving opportunities.

- Leads the identification and delivery of continuous improvement opportunities to Group IT Business Solutions business operations.



Experience Required:



- Significant demonstrable experience in a variety of IT management positions covering business systems and core infrastructure related products and services.

- Experience of working in manufacturing or logistics experience preferably in food or other FMCG environments

- Significant experience of managing large scale IT enabled transformation projects or portfolios of medium sized IT projects.

- Significant experience of managing external third party outsourced service providers.

- Proven experience of managing multidisciplinary teams in multi-site locations.

- PMP/PRINCE Certified

- ITIL Certified

- LSS Green Belt certification (desirable)



Knowledge of the following Technical Skills:



- FMCG Operations

- ERP Applications

- BI Technologies (cognos / business objects / Qlikview or equivalent)

- SCM applications (desirable)

- SFDC / MES / CIM Applications (desirable)

- Telecoms Technologies (LAN / WAN / PBX / IPT)

- Datacentre Operations (Internal / Hosted Offerings)
