Advisory Compliance Manager

London, United Kingdom, GB - Banking

As a result of a restructuring a UK-Based global asset management firm is looking to incorporate a new compliance advisory manager into their team. The new advisory manager will be mainly responsible for advising and supporting UK business areas on regulatory matters.



The company has a global footprint with a UK and European focus. They place a strong emphasis on compliance and believe it to be hugely important for their business strategy. There is a great collegiate culture promoting dynamic attitudes and encouraging training and development.



The manager will have a number of responsibilities including, but not limited to :



 Provide compliance advisory support to the front and middle office teams

 Analyse regulations that impact the front / middle office and assist in regulatory implementation

 Ensure all relevant front office compliance policies and procedures are up-to-date

 Monitor, help resolve and maintain breaches register

 Partner with the Sales & Marketing Teams to advise, approve and sign off on financial promotions.

 Prepare quarterly key performance indicators for the quarterly compliance board report

 Assist other team members in reviewing marketing material in accordance with FCA regulations and country specific private placement rules

 Assist with Compliance training



The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of experience with a good understanding of compliance best practice in the asset management industry. This role will also require engagement with financial promotions so experience in this would be preferential.
