A fabulous and very rare opportunity has arisen with an internationally respected academic institution, for an MRICS qualified Building Surveyor to join the estates team.



The estate of this prestigious Institution dates back hundreds of years, set in a conservation area, covering 11 acres and comprises Grade I, II & II* listed buildings. There are over 100 staff employed on the premises with over £10m pa being generated via rents. It relies on the effective delivery of technical,contractual and building surveying services this very unique estate.



Reporting to the Director of Estates, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties in a highly varied role. This will include refurbishment projects, professional services, provision of technical advice on the maintenance of buildings, procurement, L&T, rent reviews & lease renewals and working closely with the maintenance and facilities management teams.



The successful candidate will be MRICS qualified, offering a strong background ideally from the client-side but consultancy candidates will also be considered. It is preferable that you have experience dealing with listed properties, in a conservation area.
