Our client, a highly reputable financial services business has an opportunity for a Senior Manager to work as part of the senior management team for Global Data Services for London.



The Global Data Management team is responsible for managing and solutionising market data and portfolio data that supports the life cycle of the investment management process for their investment management businesses and research teams across multi-asset classes.



As the Senior Manager of the Data Services team in London, you will demonstrate strong leadership experience to lead a team of Investment Data Analysts in London as well as develop & manage senior stakeholder relationships across the asset management and research businesses from a data management perspective.



Coming from a market data and portfolio data background supporting and delivering investment data solutions, it is essential that you will have prior experience translating business requirements into data requirements coupled with formal project management skills and experience.



Data Management specialists will come from a corporate research or investment operations background from an investment management company working in an analytical data role providing investment data solutions for front office across various types of investment vehicle data such as securities, mutual funds, managed accounts, blends, indices, composites, and across various subject areas including characteristics and reference data.



In addition to prior Data Management , people & project management experience, candidates must have strong systems and programming skills such as SQL and will be educated to degree level within a mathematical, technology or finance degree.
