As the Retail Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for Accessories and Displays. You will partner closely with the PC and printer sales and category teams and the marketing/programs teams. Our sales teams deliver a unique customer experience. We think of the business as a whole. We work together to sell strategic solutions as well as stand-alone products.


You will work closely with other members of the HP account team and actively engage HP resources and senior executives to build strategic relationships with retail partners which ensures long-term business opportunities for HP. You are responsible for the account relationships in the categories assigned to you, thereby serving as the active link between HP and the account for all activities including marketing, advertising, promotions, training, support and sales.


It is important that you understand the supply chain activities and that you actively participate in managing product supply and rollovers. You will have to demonstrate your abilities in the development and implementation of account promotional plans to optimize the use of all funds. In order to promote sales growth, you will establish and maintain account plans and drive and participate in the general sales strategy for assigned categories via these plans.


Presenting the HP products to retail buyers and category managers will be your responsibility. This is to be done with professionalism and enthusiasm, thereby clearly communicating the “Why HP”-message to your audience in order to differentiate yourself from the competition. You’ll be responsible for sell-in and sell-out activities, and make sure you achieve the assigned quota for HP accessories & displays.
