My client, a major commercial building contractor operating throughout London and the East of England, are seeking a Project Manager to join their team, reporting into their Colchester office.
They are seeking a candidate with a solid understanding across a range of building contracts, who is comfortable and at home managing jobs across various sectors of the industry, inclusive of education, commercial, leisure, healthcare and refurbishment projects, up to circa £5m in value.
The successful candidate will be well versed in all aspects of project management, encompassing the full life cycle of the build from pre-construction to handover and will be competent in delivering industry leading standards of Health & Safety as part of delivering the project on time and on budget.
The ideal candidate will
- Be suitably qualified, ideally degree or equivalent and holding MCIOB.
- Hold a demonstrable track record as a Senior Site Manager / Project Manager.
- Possess a high level of technical knowledge.
- Have an understanding of full pre-construction responsibilities.
- Be able to demonstrate strong man-management capabilities.
- Be suitably based work predominantly within the Colchester / A12 areas.
