INTRODUCTION TO ROLE
As a Technical Consultant, you will work on projects delivering technical value and expertise to HP's large customer base right from the start. You will have the opportunity to lead and/or take part in the design and delivery of technology solutions tailored to meet customers' needs. You will also directly support customers on technical challenges, expanding your own technical knowledge and investing in building and maintaining effective customer relationships. · Deliver best-in-class solutions to solve customer business challenges
· Take part in projects to deliver technical value and expertise to HP's large customer base, providing technical systems management support, delivering part of a detailed technical design, and/or contributing to the design of technical solutions for customer environments
· Work independently or across teams to establish and maintain excellent customer relationships
· Participate in a chosen technical community or profession to continuously expand your technical knowledge, business acumen, and professional network
Technical Skills
Microsoft
· Demonstrable technical expertise in deploying MS Technologies such as Exchange Server, Lync, Office 365, Windows Server and Active Directory.
· Develop architectural design document based on existing sample or new requirement.
· Experience in responding to RFPs and provide Solutioning
· Experience with Exchange clustering and high availability solutions
· Experience with geo-diverse Exchange implementations
· Experience with installation and configuration of Active directory, Exchange 2013, Lync 2013.
· Experience in Office 365, configuration & Migration.
· Understand customer environment & gather business requirement.
· Research Technical Aspects & Best Practices.
· Map technical information to customer's context.
· Develop Prototype to test solution.
· Identify customer required deliverables & all tasks for the project.
· Monitor & adjust estimates to integrate new constraints.
· Prepare documentation as needed.
· Respond to customer needs by email, phone calls & one to one meetings.
Unix
· OS Installation, Configuration, Migration and Troubleshooting experience
· HPUX LVM / VxVM
· Virtual Partitions
· MC/Service Guard and Integration with Database/ERP Solutions
· HPVM, ICAP, SIM
· HPUX Networking / Ignite-UX
· HPUX Fibre Channel Knowledge and Configuration
· SAN experience with Unix hosts
· Hands on experience with HP9000 Enterprise Hardware
· Experience in BASH, Perl, and Python scripting is a plus
· Knowledge on Database , Applications and other OS is a plus
· Knowledge on Storage products, Networking Solutions, Cloud Computing is a plus
Qualifications :
Qualification:
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering – BE, BTECH or Equivalent.
- Minimum 3- 4 years in Consultancy, Architecting, Design, Deployment and/or support of software-related products or services, in a Microsoft-based large-scale Enterprise environment.
- Experience in identifying and delivering technical solutions to customer business problems.
- Solid hands on experience in deploying MS Technologies – Windows, Exchange, Active Directory, MS Exchange, Lync, O365 etc.
- Industry Certifications on Exchange, Office 365, Lync & OS(two or more of these certifications needed)
- Expertise in Exchange and Notes messaging environments.
- Should have worked on Exchange migration environment. Should have hands-on experience in Exchange 2007 / 2010 configuration and
· Implementation.- Must have knowledge and hands-on experience in anyone of the migration tool (Binary Tree, NME, Microsoft Transporter, Native Exchange tools etc)
