Principal Environmental Consultant

London, United Kingdom, GB - Oil & Energy

Responsibilities:



* Preparation of concise reports that assess potential environmental liability risks, compliance and operational status

* Management of large national and international due diligence projects involving multi-site portfolios and multi-person teams in support of financial and industrial mergers, divestitures and acquisitions

* Transaction and integration support - review of purchase agreement, disclosure schedules, indemnity provisions, insurance policies, reserve and capital expenditure forecasts, opening balance sheets, and permit transfers

• Leverage the Corporate M&A Advisory role to provide services related to site remediation, compliance, management systems, integration support etc


• The ability to develop and implement a strategic business plan, provide leadership, and deliver financial results to grow opportunities across business lines within the broader European strategy


• Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business
  
  
  
  Requirements:
  


• Existing client relationships required


• Client orientated mindset and approach


• Must be able to work in a fast paced and adaptable environment, and be able to deliver under tight timescales


• Familiarity with communicating to the client in business terms the environmental and regulatory liabilities and associated implications pertaining to the associated transaction


• Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines within budget


• Excellent English and German communication and reporting skills required


• Financial, accounting and balance sheet familiarity and experience is advantageous
