A multinational insurer that operates across the general insurance market are now recruiting for an Audit Manager to join their global function. This is a strategic based role operating across the UK and wider global business playing an integral part of the audit function, liaising with stakeholders at the highest level of the business.
As an Audit Manager you will gain huge exposure to the business through providing the link between the UK based audit function and the global audit function - working across the audit team to guide strategy and specifically be involved in carrying out financial reviews in relation to financial controls, capital, treasury and investments.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in the creation of the audit framework and implementation of key business audits
-Work with key financial stakeholders and promote the audit team within the company
-Coordinate key audits and provide strategic guidance for the team in relation to the annual audit plan
Ideal candidate:
-A strong background and understanding of internal audit within the insurance sector
-Excellent communication skills and effective stakeholder management capabilities
-Motivated by working in a team based environment and assisting colleagues in the completion of audits
-Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
