A Lloyd's Managing Agent are now recruiting for a Senior Internal Auditor to join their London based audit function. This business is owned by an American parent and this audit team covers both sides of the audit process. The business itself has grown rapidly from its start up in the last ten years and continues to do so. In this internal audit role you would be part of a philosophy of rewarding the best workers in the business.



This internal audit team travels the world auditing the various business lines and works very closely with senior stakeholders to under take the review process of the internal controls. You would have management responsibilities over the external audit team and build up exposure to a multinational audit environment. This company promotes internal progression and this role has a clear and set out progression plan.



Key responsibilities include:



-Initial assignment research and planning

-Holding planning meetings and liaising with relevant staff during the audit

-Recording, walk through and evaluating processes and controls in place.

-Developing and refining risk and control assessments.

-Conducting and recording audit fieldwork testing



Ideal candidate:



-Currently working in an audit team with the Big 4 or Top 20 practice

-Experience of the financial service sector, preferably insurance

-Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships

-Experience of auditing the UK insurance sector

-Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
