An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Media Adviser to join a busy division of a public sector organisation. This team is responsible for managing all media issues and enquiries for a large, complex organisation.



Due to a gap in the team, this client is looking for a senior media adviser to look after a large portfolio covering all issues and providing advice to senior stakeholders. You will be responsible for managing media issues, developing media strategies and working with the Minister's office and senior Executive to plan the organisation's responses.



To be successful in this role you will need to have a strong background in media relations and communications. Experience working as a journalist is mandatory and exposure to working in the public sector is preferred.
