This NSW State Government Department is looking for a Senior Project Officer with solid experience managing a project team to start immediately on a contract basis. You will have good writing skills and experience developing a project plan and framework for a new state government initiative, which is soon to be announced.



This particular Government Department is looking for a strong all-rounder with predominantly excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a strong understanding of project management methodology. You will be working on a high level project plan, which will be delivered to the ministers and therefore high level project management and stakeholder engagement is essential. You will also require highly developed organisation skills to manage competing priorities and project time lines.



The successful applicant will find enjoyment in this project based role, where you will need to work in a fast paced environment and meet tight deadlines. Experience managing a NSW Government Employment or Economic Development Project would be beneficial in applying for this position.



To be successful, you will have Senior Project / Program Management experience within NSW State Government and will be available for a 6 month contract with potential extension. You will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
