Channel Services System Project Manager

As a part of the Worldwide AppleCare Channel Services organization, a Channel Services System Project Manager is responsible for management of system development, implementation and sustainment for AppleCare service systems. The Systems PM is ultimately responsible for ensuring delivery of world-class service systems for our global chain of service providers enabling the best service experience possible for our customers and employees.
Key Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of corporate-level project management experience
- A proven track record of successfully leading multiple concurrent projects of medium (4-8 months) and large (8-12 months) scope
- PMI Certification desirable
- Service system development, project management or Apple service system experience a plus
- Familiarity with systems including GCRM, SAP and POS is helpful
- Intermediate to advanced expertise with industry standard tools (including Keynote, Pages, Microsoft Excel)
- Familiarity with Omniplan, At Task, or similar project management tools
- The ideal candidate is one who is effective at working independently as part of larger, cross-functional teams with little formal guidance
Description
Demonstrates the ability and willingness to:
Identify, develop and document requirements and associated project documentation
Oversee all aspects of projects, including establishing project plans, business requirements documentation, requirements gap analysis, design reviews, scope reviews, testing, training, communications and implementation
Understand and master the technical inner-workings of multiple inter-related systems, including repair, point of sale and inventory control systems
Perform well in a high-pressure, fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environment
Develop deep understanding of how retail systems are utilized by our customers
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish requirements and implement projects
Negotiate agreements with multiple dependent stakeholders
Ability to investigate, understand and coordinate troubleshooting of complex systems issues
Flexibility to handle directional changes and effectively manage multiple projects at once
Influence decisions and facilitate change management through collaboration and leadership
Act as a liaison between the business and technology groups to ensure business requirements are met leveraging technological solutions
Build partnerships with many extended teams across Apple, including hardware engineering, software engineering, IS&T, quality, operations, planning, fulfillment and logistics, program managers and training teams
Use data and analysis to make decisions and influence others

Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years experience or MA/MS/MBA with 1-3 years experienc
