DIRECTOR OF TRANSACTION



Our client is a leading healthcare company that has a global presence over 60 countries and numerous Innovation Centres situated across the globe to bring about top medical innovations. They are currently seeking a capable and experienced Director of Transaction to strategically manage the entire global transaction processes with diverse technical industry partners, bringing in new product flow to enhance the innovation pipelines.



Based at the newly established Innovation Centre in Shanghai, and reporting to the Vice-President, you are responsible to build strong network and manage all aspects of transaction process, such as diligence and negotiation, with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, venture capital, governments, research and academic institutions in the Asia Pacific region. You will champion the process of transaction through leveraging on your scientific technical expertise and employing strategic business transaction models, such as seed investments, licensing, option deals and spin out to obtain the best acquisition or collaborations, pushing forward the drug research development.



Ideally, you should have a Masters or PhD in Engineering, Science or a related discipline, with a MBA. You should also have at least 7 years of R&D development experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry or academia research institute, holding additional leadership portfolio relevant to business development, sales and marketing, finance or venture capital investing. You should have a strong reputation and network with academic institutions, government authority, venture capital community, research centres and pharmaceutical companies.
