Senior Systems Administrator / Technical Consultant

HP New Zealand has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Systems Administrator to join our Midrange Team within our Enterprise Services group.

This specialist level role focuses on one of our high profile clients providing predominately Redhat Project build/support, which would ideally be complemented by VM ware and VERITAS Cluster support.

It is essential that you have the following knowledge & experience to be considered for this role:

Senior level Unix Administration experience;

Senior level Redhat experience;

Experience working in large complex Enterprise environments;

Sound knowledge of infrastructure and architectures;

Solid grounding in change management and/or ITIL best practice;

Sound problem identification and resolution skills;

Solid change management process and compliance experience;

Proven experience in delivering products and solutions to agreed deadlines;

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and personal presentation.

It is desirable that you have the following experience/certifications to be considered for this role:

A mix of Linux Red Hat and VMware experience;

Red Hat certifications;

VM ware certifications;
