An exciting and dynamic opportunity has become available to work for one of WA's luxury, leading Publishing Houses who have been established since 1997 and produce the nine leading magazine titles in Western Australia. They remain an independent locally owned and operated business and continue to provide West Australians with the leading state-based magazines in Australia.



This exciting new opportunity has become available due to strategic growth and our client is looking for a highly experienced and talented Marketing Communications Manager who comes from an Advertising Agency background to take their business to the next level and lead the business forward in this area. You will be expected to help develop an effective marketing communications & digital strategy along with managing public relations, promotions, events, sponsorships, presentations, create content for print, digital and social media.



This is a hand's on position that requires exceptional project management skills, drive, initiative and extensive experience in digital media and general marketing and communications. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing and communications activities designed to increase traffic and sales



Duties Involved:



* The development and implementation of strategic online and off line marketing and communications plans & project marketing campaigns to achieve project objectives within a given budget and time frame

* Prepare PowerPoint presentations, prepare sales kits, media kits, preparing PDF's and video presentations along any other form of collateral required

* Prepare pitches, packages and proposals for large sponsorship deals

* Analysing and reporting on marketing research and sales data to identify trends and opportunities

* Write and manage the implementation of the Digital Marketing and Communications strategy along with implementation

* Digital - setup and maintenance of social media marketing communications, you will manage all digital marketing and drive online marketing campaigns - EDMs

* PR/Media communications - pitching to agencies, building relationships with local media, agencies and journalist for publicity and promotional activity

* Experience in writing and production management of newsletters, brochures and other promotional materials

* Experience in media relations and coordinating functions and events



The Successful Candidate requires:



Ideally possess a minimum of five years experience working in an Advertising Agency dealing with multiple corporate & prominent clients covering all aspects of digital strategy and marketing communications. You will have excellent writing skills and be highly experienced in preparing pitches, presentations, media kits, sales kits, proposals and more. Additionally you will have experience in PR/Media and Sponsorship. Additionally, to succeed in this role, you will need to have outstanding project management experience where you are able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. You will be managing 1 marketing coordinator and it is essential that you are also a strong team player who leads by example. This role requires someone highly analytical with outstanding attention to details. Candidates from a publishing, print, advertising agency or media background will be highly regarded.
