Financial Accountant

Hays Senior Finance is currently recruiting on behalf of a medium sized growing PLC in Chippenham. Due to recent acquisition the business requires a Financial Accountant to join the team

Duties include

* To assist with the Group's external reporting and liaison with the external auditors.

* To maintain the Group's share option schemes.

Principal Accountabilities:

* Assist in the preparation of the Group plc annual report and interim report.

* Responsible for completion of all subsidiary statutory accounts.

* Assist in management of the Group's share schemes (Share save, SIP and options).

* Assist in the completion of tax returns and computations.

* Assist in the Group's company secretarial obligations.

* Assist in all corporate governance matters including maintaining the Group risk register.

* Assist in the annual insurance renewal process and to maintain an awareness of changing insurance requirements.

* Assist in the identification, development and implementation of changes to financial procedures and systems.

* Assist in maintaining an effective treasury function.

* Support the Group Financial Accountant with any ad-hoc reporting required.

Suitable candidates will be Qualified ACCA OR ACA or could be finalist level with relevant experience in the above areas. Candidates will be good communicators with experience in a medium to large sized business. Intermediate Excel skills required
