Our client a large residential builder based in Macquarie Park is currently experiencing significant growth and is looking for an experienced sales estimator to join the team. This company has been around for over 40 years and are one of the top builders in NSW they offer custom built homes as well a project homes and land and house packages.
This is a full time permanent position that could commence immediately for the right candidate. Our client is looking for someone who has a minimum of 2 years experience within the estimating field as well as someone that has a solid background within the residential sector. Strong costing experience along with strong sub contractor negotiation skills are essential for this position.
Your day to day duties will consist of managing sales pricing of variations, preparing sales estimates for tenders, consulting with different business departments, generating fixed price quotations and contracts, assisting the sales team with pricing requests, generating BOQ's managing risk assessments as well as ensuring everything adheres to strict timeframes and deadlines.
You will be a people person who has excellent communication skills. You will enjoy working as part of a team and thrive on working in an environment where training and development are offered.
