£20K - £24K(DOE) plus bonus

A large volume retailer who have been established for 30 years as a leading retailer of quality products in their field. With approximately 60 stores in the UK and Ireland to date, the company have recently gone through a period of expansion securing their position as a market leader in the area of games and electronics. Due to their ongoing expansion, a Duty Manager opportunity has become available in their brand new Inverness store.



The Duty Manager will be responsible for managing up to 30 sales staff across a large floor space of 10,000sq ft to 20,000 sq ft. The stores have a large footfall and turnover, and it will be the Duty Manager's responsibility to maintain an organised and efficient structure in store; to include managing wage budgets, recruitment, development of staff and maintaining a consistent level of service. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will operate in a hands-on capacity on a daily basis, managing the staff from the shop floor whilst putting in place measures to meet and achieve the KPIs set on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. You will support the Store Manager on the shop floor, completing necessary administration tasks, and have accountability for the products in store, inventory and re-order of a large volume of large and small products.



The Right fit (Duty Manager - Inverness)



The successful candidate will come from a background in large store management; from a food or general merchandise background in the area of volume sales. A self motivator, you will have the ability to manage the shop floor autonomously and must have experience of this type of working environment. The company expect all staff to have the willingness to travel between stores as required.
