Hays Accounting & Finance and their client, a financial service and bank located in Thornhill, are looking to hire a Senior Account Manager for a six month contract to permanent opportunity. This position is with a dynamic, evolving company with global recognition. The Senior Account Manager works as a member of the Commercial Banking Team with an emphasis on syndication loans, commercial mortgages and other commercial lending products, especially construction loans. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining existing business relationships with corporate clients as well as winning new long-term business relationships within the local market.
As the Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for liaising with clients in the market of commercial and construction lending, collecting information for preparing initial credit applications and independently reviewing, assessing and scrutinizing financial and borrower information to develop a strong rationale in the adjudication of credit proposals. Provide input to maintain up-to-date files on clients, identify opportunities for business expansion and product enhancement of existing client businesses based on client feedback and competitive market analysis. As the Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for closely engaging in product development and assist the department head with the achievement of department performance targets. As the Senior Account Manager you will be responsible for coaching, supervising and motivating team members and other staff members.
As the successful applicant you will have three years of above commercial credit experience in the field of commercial lending with infrastructure, real estate and mortgages considered an asset. As the successful applicant you will have a relevant post-secondary education with a diploma/degree in business administration, accounting, finance or economics. A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are a requirement for this position.
