Transformation Lead x 2

Manchester, United Kingdom, GB - Construction, Utilities

My Utilities client is looking for a Transformation Lead to be responsible for driving and managing the business unit's transformation agenda and aligning internal business units to my clients overarching strategy whilst supporting a culture in which employees and customers are treated fairly; which in turn increases the profitability of the business.



The ideal candidate will have the following;



- Experience of leading large strategic change programmes (cultural, systems, people and process), delivering step changes within the business.

- Detailed understanding of business drivers.

- Knowledge and understanding of the commercial aims and objectives of a Utilities companies.

- Commercial Know-How: Managing for value, understand the external market place, understanding the Utilities market, Understanding Customers.

- Project planning processes and techniques including agile techniques

- Process mapping E2E transactional, regulated organisations

- Integration of 2 different businesses with different cultures

- Best practice methodologies such as Prince 2 Practitioner, MSP, Six Sigma



Essential skills include;



- Ability to understand and translate between business requirements and technical solutions.

- Expert communicator who can influence and a wide range of stakeholders, instil a passion for change and communicate across all level of the business, driving behavioural and performance improvement.

- Capable of facilitating and influencing strategic debate.

- Strong commercial acumen and effective decision making.

- Business modelling skills (Excel, Lean/Six Sigma principles etc.) including the ability to make sense of and manipulate data sets

- Ability to interpret and understand processes, creating a sustainable model which will operate as a foundation for rollout of future business



The ideal candidate will



- Strong, demonstrable influencing and negotiation skills

- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills

- Flexibility to multi task and deal with conflicting priorities

- Experience of implementing and managing business improvement activities

- Proven experience of creating and working in a continuous improvement culture

- Desire to take ownership of business change and see recognisable business improvements

- Strong facilitation skills

- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills

- Ability to motivate, enthuse and influence work stream leads and other stakeholders

- Proven ability to engage stakeholders to support the approval to progress

- Proven track record of middle/senior management engagement

- Hands on experience of delivering change within a transactional environment

- Ability to produce a strong, strategic and compelling business cases

- Background in delivery of large complex transformation in the consultancy, Construction, M & E, Facilities Management arenas would be ideal
