We are looking for 'technologists' with a passion for diversifying and learning new technical skills. We are looking for QA professionals who are passionate about what they do and eager to be the best technical testers they can be.

HAYS are looking for two Technical Testers for a fantastic technical and Agile software company based in the City of London. Our client is a well-known and respected organisation who develops award software solutions for the UKs leading Trading, Banking, Retail and Government businesses.

The organisation boasts an extremely technical development and testing team whereby testers and developers are encouraged to work alongside each other to deliver complex solutions and learn from eachother.

The successful Technical Testers will gain the opportunity of working with fantastic global brands and projects with leading cutting edge Opensource technologies. Typical projects include front office trading systems, big data, mobile banking apps and and multi-tiered transitional applications.

The successful Technical Testers will have the following skills:

• Functional Automation Testing using Selenium WebDriver or Cucumber


• Experience of at least one language such as Java, C#, Ruby, Python or Perl


• Strong experience in Agile


• A consultative mind set with the ability to communication effectively


• A knowledge of BDD would be great


• Integration, Component, Unit Testing experience desirable


• Excellent SQL and Unix skills


• Experience of banking, trading or transactional systems are highly desirable

The Technical Tester will receive the following package:

• £60-70k basic


• 5% Non Contributory Pension


• Bonus
