An exciting new job opportunity within Procurement has arisen in London city. One of the leading global professional services organisations is seeking a Procurement Manager to manage their Facilities Management category. The business is a parent company of a number of other leading risk experts and the procurement team is greatly valued within the organisation where delivering value through supplier relationships is priority. This opportunity is a 9 month FTC where you will cover maternity leave.
As the Procurement Manager you will represent the company as the EMEA category lead. You will manage two local team members and will attend and organise regular weekly meetings. Participating in the relevant FM leadership calls or meetings with regular client contact will be an important part of your role. You will process development and improvement, determine short and long term category strategy, mitigate any risk and identify opportunities to deliver savings. Although this role is has an EMEA remit, you may be required to lead projects outside of region on occasion.
To be considered for this role you will have an extensive background at procuring FM, Real Estate and Cap Ex related services. You will have previous experience in people management and will have the ability to influence and make executive decisions while working in a constantly changing environment. Strong experience with Microsoft and Office, Excel and PowerPoint along with a “can do” attitude is essential.
