My client is a leading retail, shopper data insights and consulting business worldwide, with a global presence of 20 offices in 15 countries. In China, the company works with leading consumer goods manufacturers and retails to transform the purchase behaviour of consumers and shoppers through the use of retail and shopper insights, purchase data analytics, consulting, organizational development and retail virtual reality services. Currently, my client is looking for a Research Director to join its Shanghai office.
This role will be a strategic position to manage and to build relationship with their key clients in FMCG industry. Additionally, it is responsible to manage the daily operation of a 5-6 people team under it. Some business development responsibilities are also required based on business need.
Successful candidate must have at least 10 years experience in a similar function. He/she needs to have previous experience in managing B2C clients within a marketing research agency. FMCG industry knowledge and client-serving experiences are strongly desired.
The candidate needs also to be familiar with business development, people management and coaching responsibilities. Great self-presentation and fluent English communication skills are required for the role.
