Financial Controller

A telecommunications company located in Hong Kong is searching for a Financial Controller to join their team. This role is perfect for an entrepreneurial accountant who prides themselves on their management abilities.
Reporting directly to the VP of Finance you will be responsible for the financial accounting and month end closes for the department. You will also manage a team made up of accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue and billing accountants. You will have the opportunity to take up fixed asset and inventory accounting and management functions. Finally you will have the opportunity to lead and drive new accounting policies and procedures.
You must have experience working within the telecommunications industry and have more than 8 years of financial accounting experience. You must have a strong track record in and working with various stakeholders and senior managers as this role is integral to the company. Having a strong background in revenue accounting is ideal and you must have a history of streamlining and improving various manual processes with a focus on revenue and billing. You must be a qualified accountant with a Bachelors Degree. Finally, you must have excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English.
