Corporate Finance/Associate Director

With many of their companies held at various stages of development, ranging from early stage development companies to established, cash generating businesses, your primary responsibility will be to support the business management team in executing the strategy and operational growth plans.



Reporting to the VP of Business Development, this is very much a corporate finance focussed role however as a key member of the BD team, you will take part in developing and executing business strategy, oversee and support the diversified portfolio of businesses and become deeply involved in relevant corporate transaction processes. In essence, you will be monitoring the development of portfolio of companies, specifically in the automotive industry, as well as leading Investor Relations. Your key base responsibilities are IR and asset management (multi-billion dollar assets) and support on M&A activity as relevant.



You will provide expert analysis to management through your extensive research on the market, gaining knowledge on industry as well as the portfolio. You will be tasked with creating, analysing and maintaining complex financial models including valuation and transaction models as well as organising and preparing presentations and helping to develop and manage the transaction processes.



To be considered for this role, a proven track record within a top tier investment bank, consulting or financial advisory firm is required. Extensive Investor Relations experience across Asia is a critical requirement as is a bachelor's degree in either: economics /accounting / mathematics with an excellent academic record. MBA is a plus. Robust financial modelling experience is essential and with a strong attention to detail. Strong experience with Microsoft Office applications, specifically excel, power point and word as well as with information providers such as Capital IQ and Bloomberg would be an advantage.
