I am currently seeking to recruit a Program Director on a permanent basis at a highly reputable and well regarded private education provider in Sydney. This is a non-teaching position to start in early 2015 and would see the successful applicant report in to the Deputy Principal. You will be required to manage the extended learning programs that advance student opportunities and promote the institution's expertise and facilities to the wider local community.



The incumbent will be a pivotal member in this institution's management team and the principle function is to design and manage this education provider's co-curriculum offering through development, programming and resourcing of activities. You will be responsible for creating the strategy behind this program, ensuring its' delivery supports the institution's strategic intent and supports each student's curricular learning.



Specific role requirements include, but are not limited to: Administration and management of the entire program, ensuring alignment with the institution's strategic plan: Development of processes and procedures relating to financial responsibility of the program; Quality Assurance; Instructional Management, Student Services, Compliance and Risk, Stakeholder Engagement and ensuring Marketing and Communication consistency.



Key challenges in taking on this position include: Maintaining collaborative and positive relationships with a range of stakeholders, many of whom have varying objectives, demands, priorities and expectations; Promoting a culture that supports continuous improvement and maintaining a positive outlook when responding to organisational change. Key working relationships include: Principle, Deputy Principle, Heads of Curriculum, Teachers, Heads of Departments and the Parental Community.



To be successful in applying for this position, it is essential you hold: Bachelor Degree or higher in a related field and three years experience, a strong service delivery ethos, the ability to influence, negotiate and advocate, exceptional customer service and communication skills, a business focussed approach to work, a positive approach to change, an understanding of the need to be flexible in regards to out of hours commitment and an understanding of the non-for-profit and/or education environment.
