Hays Senior Finance are currently recruiting exclusively for a Management Accountant to work within one of Gloucestershire leading SME Service Engineering organisations. My client is a market leader within their field in both the UK and Europe, and growing.

The vacancy provides an excellent opportunity for a part qualified, QBE or qualified Accountant, who are looking for a role, which offers hands on financial and monthly management accounting responsibilities. You will be responsible and take on the ownership for the day-to-day and monthly accounts, for a recently acquired company into their group.



The role reports in to the Finance Director and offers exposure to the following duties:



Monthly management accounts

Deferred income

Variance analysis

Prepayments and Accruals

Posting and coding

Ledgers

Payment runs



The successful candidate will have strong all round general accounting knowledge. Confidence in working with MS Excel - including use of look up functions. A team player who is comfortable communicating with the wider business. This is a very hands on role with long term progression.
