Associate/ VP (Economist)

Singapore, SG - Banking, Financial Services

Reporting to the head of the team, you will primarily be responsible for the analysis of the macro-economic, political, industry, tech and social trends; as well as the monitoring of the equity, credit and foreign exchange markets. You will also help shape the investment portfolio in terms of geographies, sectors and asset classes.



You are degree-qualified (preferably in economics) and have at least 3-5 years of working experience, preferably with a mix of both public and private sector (hedge fund or mutual fund preferred). You will have strong quantitative skills, are a detail-oriented, self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills. A strong background in econometric modeling and powerpoint presentation skills will give you an added advantage.
