This dynamic Department is looking for an experienced APS 6 Internal Communications expert.

This is an initial 3 month contract opportunity to commence immediately.

As an APS 6 Internal Communications Officer, you will assist in implementing communications strategies, assist to develop and organise internal events and forums, and develop and publish content to the website and assist with media enquiries. Your strong written communication and organisational skills will enable you to prepare written material, including reports, briefs, and correspondence for use within the Department.

You will also have experience with managing change communications within the APS.

We are seeking someone with demonstrated communications experience, preferably within the APS and within Internal Communications. You will be adaptable, hold strong problem solving skills and the ability to work in a complex environment. SharePoint and web editing skills are also preferred but not essential.
