Our client is a well regarded design and planning firm whose success is recognised by multiple industry awards. The firm's services cover all aspects or greenfield design and masterplanning as well as statutory and urban planning.
Due to the steady business growth and inflow of new projects, opportunity came up for an experienced Urban Planner to join this vibrant and accomplished team of design and planning leaders. In this exciting and challenging role you will be working on various statutory planning projects whilst providing planning support and leadership across the business. You will have an opportunity to sharpen and further expand your planning skills and experience whilst getting exposure to some key urban development projects in the state.
This role is ideal for an experienced Planner who is ready to step up into a more senior role or a Senior Planner who is looking for more flexibility and variety of work. This business is promoting positive and collaborative work environment and is looking for someone with the same values to become a part of supportive close knit team.
To be successful for this role you must have a tertiary level degree in Town Planning and preferably some private sector background as well as previous Government experience. You will have an ability to work with minimal supervision and take an initiative on delivering projects and developing relationships with existing clients. You will have polished written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to build strong relationships internally as well as outside of the business.
