Finance Supervisor

Chelmsford, United Kingdom, GB - Machinery

Working for a multinational manufacturing business this role offers an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates to gain exposure to senior management and take the lead on a variety of projects and workstreams whilst supervising a small team. This position interacts with pan European locations and Finance functions and provide an excellent overview of the European balance sheet and key accounting issues.



Responsibilities will include:

Lead and supervise the Balance Sheet Analysis team

Preparation and presentation of comprehensive legal entity balance sheets and functional review packs to senior management to support business decision making

Consolidation and presentation to senior management of the quarterly legal and tax reserves

Completion of the monthly foreign exchange analysis

Reporting of accounts reconciliation metrics, receivables, USGAAP and IFRS adjustments



To be successful in this role you will need to hold a formal accountancy qualification, demonstrate strong business acumen and customer focus and have a proven ability to manage a variety of tasks to meet required deadlines working accurately and efficiently.
