Credit Controller

This is an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a vibrant wholesale company. After a recent restructuring there is a need to add to the current team.



The successful candidate will be responsible for chasing a ledger valued in excess of £3 million. My Client is looking for a Credit Controller with at least 1-2 year’s experience, ideally in a wholesale background. This candidate must be able to work in South London.



Responsibilities:



· Chasing outstanding debt and old debt from the aged debt report

· Working proactively to ensure that accounts do not become overdue

· Taking payments – when clients are paying all or part of the debt by credit card

· Reconciling customer accounts

· Project work on database management of all customers on direct debit mandate

· Allocating daily BACS and cheque payments, and taking cheques to the bank when needed

· Covering some of the supervisors tasks in their absence



The successful candidate will be outgoing and work well in a collaborative environment. This team are friendly and hard working but the candidate will need to work well under pressure.
