Overall Summary:
The role of the Customer Experience Center (CEC) Enterprise Solutions Architect is to collaborate closely with account teams, presales, enterprise business units and the Office of the Customer CEC teams to deliver “hands-on” demonstrations and world-class technology experiences at the Houston CEC. This unique environment and showcase area is leveraged to enhance customer and partner relationships, gain customer insights, help accelerate business growth and advance the HP brand. The CEC Solutions Architect will be responsible for delivering business value to customers by identifying and architecting effective information systems solutions that address the customers’ business requirements, in a manner consistent with HP’s strategic and business goals. The ideal candidate will also have solid presentation skills and enjoy leading product and solution demonstrations.
Highlights of the job:
• Design and deliver high-level customer facing presentations and demo experiences showcasing HP’s EG products & solutions
• Partner with local presales to develop strategies and deliver high-level Converged Infrastructure demos with HP Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking solutions in support of briefings in the center
• Communicate the business value proposition as well as the technical aspects of a given solution
• Provide consulting for agenda development by understanding the customer’s business needs/opportunities/outcomes and their unique situation
• Collaborate with the Office of the Customer and regional CECs to expand partnerships across the company and secure demo assets, industry relative content and resources
• Partner with IT, presales and the facility teams to build and maintain the technical infrastructure for the center
• Provide direction and guidance on process improvement and the briefing program’s technology solutions in the center
Qualifications
Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of HP products/services/solutions
• Strong understanding of architectural frameworks, methodologies, and tools and understand how to apply this knowledge to successfully deliver product demonstrations
• Familiarity with and/or experience in sales, partner management, and sales lifecycle
• Able to install & configure HP Enterprise equipment in racks
• Effective skills using: Microsoft Networking, VMware, 3PAR storage technologies, SAN architecture, Citrix, HP OneView, HP Virtual Connect or HP Converged Systems is strongly desired
• MASE, ASE, MCSE, CCIE, CCNA industry certifications a plus
