Sr. Manager, WW Maintenance Renewals

The Director, WW Maintenance Renewals is responsible for the worldwide success of the software maintenance contract renewals with Veeam customers. This position providing team leadership for the teams located in Atlanta and Saint Petersburg through coaching and guiding the Renewals Sales Managers to attain a set quota for Renewals sales.



Responsibilities



• Provides leadership for Renewals Sales Managers including coaching, issue escalation, and senior management communication

• Responsible for worldwide quota of worldwide renewals teams

• Assists renewal reps with complex support contracts and key customer accounts

• Drives promotions and campaigns related to renewals by coordinating with Marketing

• Reports on activity of renewals team as well as forecasting figures and customer retention rates

• Monitors the pipeline of expiring maintenance contract agreements, contacts customers anywhere from 30 days to 3 months (depending on product) in advance of expiration, and provides a proposal/quote to the customer for the continuation of their support and products.

• Assists in negotiation of contracts or maintenance agreements.

• Performs other duties as assigned.



Qualifications



• Bachelor’s Degree required (a combination of education and experience will be considered)

• At least six (6) years sales experience representing a high technology product or service with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed a sales quota.

• 3 + years selling and/or managing software renewal contracts

• 3 + previous sales management required

• Experience working with geographically and culturally diverse teams

• Experience on high level account support and a track record of excellent customer engagement

• Experience in working with complex agreement offerings and in positioning the benefits of those offerings for customers

• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills

• Exceptional organizational skills with the proven ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines and quotas

• Experience compiling, querying, analyzing and reporting data

• Demonstrated experience prioritizing tasks and maintaining focus on key areas

• Ability to work in a semi-autonomous and fast-paced environment; must be a high-energy, motivated self-starter as well as able to motivate others to succeed
