Business Partner Manager - Technology Services

HP Enterprise Group, Technology Services Consulting is now looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual with 3-5 years sales experience who is ready for their next leap forward. As Business Partner Manager - Technology Services you will be based in our Sydney office and report to the Channel Business Manager. You will be responsible for managing our targeted partners in our community and act as the business and sales focal point between HP and the targeted partner listing.
Key Roles and Responsibilities include:
- Champion HP’s portfolio of products, services, and solutions to ensure HP is competitively positioned
- Ensure coordinated communication and interaction between HP and partners
- Engage at all levels within the partner from the Executive to the Sales Representatives
- Educate partner’s and, when needed, partner’s end-user customer on HP’s Technology Services portfolio
- Accountability for the partner performance, producing weekly forecasts by partner and identify gap plans to ensure growth across all partners
- Actively co-sell with partners and support alignment of partner’s offerings with HP’s
- Drive incremental opportunity generation for HP through mining partners’ existing customer base and identifying new opportunities with partner
- Map partners own service offerings with the HP portfolio and provide guidance on where we can work together in partnership
- Collaboratively develop partner account plans to exceed sales targets
- Hold reviews to determine progress against plan/target and develop gap strategies where necessary
- Work effectively with other key HP teams to craft and execute cohesive partner plans and programs
- Ideally 3-5 years IT sales experience (this is an individual contributor role)
- Previous IT channel/partner sales experience highly regarded
- Strong ability to build and maintain successful relationships
- High energy and results driven
- Proven history of achieving and overachieving sales targets
- Previous experience in executing plans and being a single point of contact for your customers
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Understanding of the IT industry and competing vendors including competitive positioning and financial business models
