About Our Internship Vacancy
Application Development & Management Analyst
Our roles cover a broad range of areas, within an IT Business environment. Below are some examples:

Incident Process Management
As part of the Incident Process Management team you will be processing high severity incidents that have been escalated from the customer. You will need excellent communication, organisational and time management skills to be able to lead, coordinate and produce all Incident Closure Reports (ICR’s) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Reports. Problem solving skills and attention to detail is vital in this role to be able to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner. You will also have the opportunity to be a single point of contact for process queries from application teams where you will be able to further develop your communication and listening skills.
Incident Management
You will be investigating and resolving incidents for the WSP application. The main focus is on managing and solving these issues that the customer has with the application, be it they’re following incorrect process or their account has been set up incorrectly. For any incidents the team can’t solve, they are passed onto the Level 3 and you will work with them to resolve the incident. The role will also involve Live Operations work, which covers tasks such as collecting statistics and making sure the servers are running. Examples of statistics to collect is minutely user counts through the day, and running various SQL Queries to investigate issues. It also involves managing the batch jobs that run on the system. The team is currently transitioning to take on the Live Operations work for WSP from another team and as part of this, there are new responsibilities to oversee and implement changes into the system.

Change Services Operations
Within the Change Services Operations role you will be able to build on your Microsoft Excel skills managing employee’s data and financial forecasts. You will be able to use your innovation to improve processes and build manageable and sustainable project portfolios. Being a great communicator and self-starter is essential in this role.
Regional Delivery Centre Support
Being part of the Regional Delivery Support you will have the opportunity to meet lots of new people, students and graduates. You will build on your confidence by organizing and facilitating Assessment Centre’s to recruit new graduates into the organization. You will need to be organized and be able to manage your time effectively. Good communication, innovative solutions to produce statistics that show key factors into the running of the Delivery Centre.

Database Analyst

This role will be more technical than the others, consisting of daily and weekly checks, rolling out monthly updates to all the servers in the MTE and responding to user emails which can be in relation to new users, unlocking of accounts and Information about applications. You will also learn how to restart applications if they go down and learn how to resolve errors in the applications. Having a technical ability would be very important on this role as you will learn Unix and also develop on analytical skills.

You will also need to be a proactive individual with the ability to adapt and excel in a fast paced work environment, and must be eligible to work in the UK
