Talent Acquisition Consultant – Erskine

The HP Talent Acquisition Team currently manages around 2000 hires per annum as well as supporting a variety of additional Projects, HR and Business initiatives.

We are looking for an experienced IT recruiter to join us; someone with a genuine passion for recruitment and a desire to add value.

To succeed in this Team you need to be confident in managing the full recruitment cycle, you need to be organised, motivated and a real team player; endeavoring to reach a common goal but with the drive and ability to work with relative autonomy.

We are looking for a professional and adaptable technical recruiter, someone comfortable working in a constantly changing environment - able to adjust and evolve as required.

You need to have outstanding relationship management skills, the ability to consistently manage stakeholder expectations and work through any challenges posed; ensuring effective delivery, an excellent service and customer experience.

The Role:

• You will be aligned to support internal and external permanent technical recruitment across multiple HP Business areas – including Public Sector.

• We operate to a direct sourcing model; HP- Approved Recruitment Agencies are utilized only in exceptional circumstances. Candidates should be sourced via low cost / direct channels including job boards, databases, internal talent tools, employee referrals, business networking and social media sites.

• You will provide a partnered and consultative service to stakeholders within the business in relation to their internal and external permanent recruitment; planning and implement recruitment activities in order to fill all HP opportunities (both IT technical and non – technical vacancies).

• You will be expected to abide by, as well as educate the business on and ensure compliance to HP Talent Acquisition/HR Policies and Procedures.

• You must be able to manage a workload in excess of 40+ vacancies simultaneously whilst also working to strict deadlines

• You will have the opportunity to become involved in a variety of value-add initiatives and project work outside of your day-to-day recruitment responsibilities

Support will be provided by the current team in order to build your knowledge of the HP organisation, systems, tools and recruitment channels.


Qualifications

Experience Required

• Experience of recruiting into permanent IT Technical roles: Applications, Delivery, Services, BPO etc

• Direct Sourcing of external candidates essential. Agency recruitment Experience advantageous

• Strong knowledge of the IT Market

• 360 degree recruitment cycle experience; from taking the manager job briefing through to negotiating the offer and ensuring the smooth on-boarding the successful candidate

• Proven account management and relationship building skills.

• Ability to manage an average workload of 40+ vacancies simultaneously.

• Comfortable working in a fast paced, complex and demanding organisation.

• Excellent communication skills

*Please note that location is not flexible – you will be expected to be onsite in Erskine 5 days a week
