Overview
The Regional Vice President will be responsible for the proposition and the execution of the plan to develop the company’s activity with end customers and working with channels to leverage the business. They will be in charge of managing their team and coordinating all necessary supporting activities
Their Region comprises SEMEA
This position reports to the Managing Director, EMEA
Responsibilities
- Fully accountable for generating revenues in their Region,
- Analyzes regional market dynamics in an effort to maximize existing successes and to create new sales growth opportunities,
- Prepares forecasts, territory/industry management, and growth plans,
- Establishes and reports on metrics to measure team performance; correct deficiencies where necessary
- Proposes, drives and executes the business according to the plan to overachieve sales with their team
- Working closely with HR, Global Enablement & Internal Education departments
- Fosters a successful and positive team environment.
- Supports quotation and proposal efforts to partners, prospects and customers
- Be active in helping to close large opportunities
- Be a preferred contact of CIOs, and top management of key partners
- Master Degree required (a combination of education and experience will be considered)
- Have an experience of 10 years enterprise software sales and at least five years of sales management
- Competencies in driving sales through a network of partners in a 2 tier model
- Proven record of managing multi-cultural teams in a matrix environment
- Must be a high performing Sales Director with a proven track record of consistently exceeding established measurements for goals and objectives
- Proven relationships with CIOs of top enterprise accounts
- Significant experience of sales management and sales organization in a fast growing company
- Experience in the virtualization market is a plus, understanding and contacts with some key virtualization actors
- Must be a skilled motivator with demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales staff to exceed targeted sales objectives and deliver high quality service to customers.
- Preferred candidates will have experience in business-to-business selling and managing using a consultative sales approach, and will have strong demonstrated closing skills.
- Excellent management and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Demonstrated knowledge of different sales methodologies and customer relationship management (CRM) systems (salesforce)
