Senior Manager - Corporate Tax

Due to continued success we are recruiting a Senior Tax Manager on behalf of our Client, a Big 4 Organisation, to work within their Corporate Tax Team in Edinburgh. This job opportunity sits as part of the management team and you will play an integral part in driving the client relationship forward, pro-actively developing and growing the practice.

As a Senior Manager you will have the opportunity to join an ambitious and growing team, where you will manage the full client engagement process across a wide variety of multi-national, FTSE 100 and 250 organisations and large private companies and growing companies to deliver innovative tax solutions.

You will also be responsible for managing and delivering strategic tax planning on matters ranging from tax efficient financing, mergers, acquisitions and disposals, restructuring and complex tax authority enquiries.

Your success in this role will be supported by your previous experience of advising clients on UK and corporate tax matters, from compliance through to planning, along with the implications of international expansion, acquisition financing, divestments and reorganisations. The ability to develop strong client relationships, supported by your strong interpersonal skills and previous people management experience is a key part of this role.. You will also ideally hold a CA/ACA/CTA qualification or have gained the equivalent experience in practice or industry, have experience of managing complex planning assignments and managing significant engagements, HMRC negotiations and managing tax risk. People management and coaching experience would also be desirable.
