The investment banking division of a British multinational Tier 1 bank is actively seeking a Director of Enterprise Data, Analytics and Reporting to join their business in Manchester on a permanent basis.

This organisation, boasting over 300 years of banking services and currently employing c. 150,000 people across 50 countries, requires someone to join the business at Director Level to lead a function that is responsible for: IT Service data analytics, tooling, reporting, MI and data quality.

The incumbent will have a proven track record in the industry of driving changes across large, complex and diverse organizations whilst also establishing, growing and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders up to CIO level. They must also have strong team leadership and people management skills and have managed globally remote organizations effectively.

Responsibilities will include:

• IT Service data (Incident/Problem/Change)
• Proactive Problem Management / Service Risk Assessments
• Data analytics (Big Data)
• Configuration Management/CMDB
• Reporting and MI dashboards
• Generating dashboards and reports with a very strong user experience
• Defining, owning and driving sustained proactive improvement initiatives working with partners within GTIS and across the Bank
• Being responsible for developing Big Data Analytics solutions to solve complex Business problems
• Working with large data sets using quantitative techniques and build complex statistical models that learn from Big Data 
• Establishing, Maintaining and Strengthening relationships with MD level stakeholders across multiple areas of the Bank including risk, BIA and RTB leads in the business lines
• Training, developing and mentoring colleagues to ensure full development of their potential
• Collaboratively working with other GTIS teams and stakeholders across the Bank developing cutting edge, creative and advanced analytic solutions and processes
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Barclays Operational Risk Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Standards
• Stand in and cover for the Head of EPS as and when required
• Very strong industry experience of market trends in IT Service Management, data analytics, data visualisation and data management products, tooling and processes
• Budget management of multi-million pound budgets that include people and tooling costs
• Partnering with the Technology teams to deliver a stable and highly available reporting platform
• Identifying opportunities to develop forecasts, statistical models, segmentation schemes, and data-driven analysis 
• Discovering new opportunities to optimize the business through analytics and statistical modelling
