This is an excellent opportunity for an AVP/VP level internal auditor to join a renowned global bank here in Singapore. It is auditing the Corporate & Transaction Banking space although there will be opportunities to get involved in auditing other areas too.

As an AVP/VP in the team, you will lead and participate in audit missions in order to facilitate business activities in a risk controlled environment. As and when necessary, you will perform special audits as required by regulators, business line management and audit committees. In addition, you will review implementation status of recommendations issued upon notification by auditees and assist in conducting risk assessments of audit domains and periodic reporting requirements.

Due to the nature of this audit team, you must have strong grasp of ccommercial banking products and services such as trade finance, loans, commodities finance, project finance, ship finance, syndication, funds transfers etc. You need to possess strong control concept and be an expert in legal and compliance issues within the banking environment. Report writing skills and ability to articulate well are pre-requisites. I am looking for an internal audit specialist with experience n banking and auditing of financial services of which at least 5 years in internal audit in Corporate Banks. You need to be willing to travel as this role requires 25% travel.
