A challenging role within financial services for a technically astute candidate eager to apply their skills in a role with a strong business partnering element. Reporting into the Senior Operational Risk Manager you will be accountable for providing risk assurance across a complex product mix ensuring stakeholders are fully across the key areas of responsibility when it comes to risk management.

Specifically you will provide strategic input into operational risk assurance assignments by executing the plan across a broad mix of products. You will take a risk based approach to identifying areas which need to be assessed and/or monitored and coordinate with other divisions across the organisation where collaboration is required. You will provide detailed written reports to your customer group and provide support to your key stakeholders within the group assurance, 3rd line of defence. You will be heavily involved in process excellence and demonstrate a logical mindset in the way you execute your work.

This role is well suited to a candidate trained within Top 4 audit seeking a 1st move into industry. Alternatively candidates with a process excellence / lean six sigma consulting background will be given consideration likewise. You will be a strong communicator with an exceptional stakeholder management style
