Top tier global banking & markets institution is developing a centralised Chief Risk & Governance function for EMEA.As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing an overall risk appetite framework for the region, quantifying the level of risk the region or individual entity is prepared to accept. This will involve providing support and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organisation, engaging with Risk in the U.S. and APAC to ensure consistency. Candidates must bring a fundamental understanding of portfolio optimization, with expertise on prudential risk issues and therefore able to express views on regulatory developments. A strong academic background such as an MBA is preferable yet you must also posses the ability to translate technical issues into simple English. Knowledge of how the PRA supervises the banking sector is advantageous.
