Description



The Wireless Technologies team is looking for a lead developer who is a highly motivated Software Engineer to help develop our next generation of iOS products. We're looking for a quick to learn, motivated and resourceful engineer to work in the embedded sphere of iOS development. As the lead developer for our team, you will provide the technical expertise to drive existing and future design and product implementations. You will also be an initial point of contact for cross-functional teams to discuss and address technical requirements.



Duties Include:

Lead the design, development, and debugging of drivers involved with communicating with the cellular radio.

Design and develop power management sequences and error recovery scenarios with hardware components.

Gain a wide understanding of systems to aid in cross-functional work.

Investigate issues with software and hardware in difficult debugging environments.

Provide independent analysis and initiative to tune software for performance and efficiency.

Provide mentorship to less senior engineers by providing technical guidance.

Advise management on options of solutions to critical issues.



Education



BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent)



Additional Requirements



Demonstrated experience mentoring other team members while leading projects

Experience in call control, and/or voice signal software

Familiarity with telecommunication network architectures: GSM/UMTS, CDMA, VoIP, IMS.

Familiarity with overall architecture of consumer electronics
