Senior Manager (VP) - Operational Risk

This opportunity has come up for an Operational Risk subject matter expert with past experience in Retail Banking & Wealth Management. This would be a global role providing excellent exposure for the right candidate



Reporting directly to the Global Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management Risk, your responsibilities include overseeing second line of defence whilst conducting thematic reviews for the Bank's Wealth Risk function. You would be required to liaise with global function leads by defining and presenting thematic review recommendations and conclusions in addition to overseeing combined assurance plan implementation for Wealth Risk. You will also be responsible developing and integrating the Wealth Risk function along with the wider operational risk framework for the Bank.

You will also be responsible for assisting with the tracking and monitoring of regulatory change, designing and facilitating Operational risk workshops and ensuring the Risk Management is being applied appropriately through reporting, education and advice to the business. You will be performing targeted reviews and identifying any control improvements whilst assisting with control design. You will proactively engage in building relationships with your stakeholders and monitoring the weekly reporting.

Successful candidates will have experience in Retail Banking and Wealth Management business along with 7-8 years of Operational Risk experience. Project management experience would be highly advantageous as well as an exposure to an operational and control environment such as compliance or audit.
